Wednesdays at 9:45 am in the Southpaw Café.
I've written 9 books (published 3) and I host 4 websites on the topic of overcoming psychosis. I am a non-academic person who out of necessity studied for an 8+ year span delving into my mind. The revelations I've discovered helped me to accept no one is perfect; that's the trick to overcome bipolarism (temporarily). For the better part of a decade I've not met a single diagnosed bipolar person. It's incredibly isolating. Typical groups are not an option (for me) because they prioritize "safety" which to be frank is quite limiting. However, nothing you say will shock or offend me. What does my support group offer? A clean conscience.
